About Us

The Scarboro Figure Skating Club, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing the well-being of children physically, emotionally, and socially. Each and every member is valued regardless of skating ability.

We provide ice time, professional coaching and a safe, positive, enthusiastic and stimulating training environment at a reasonable price. We strive to educate our members and advocate for efficient figure skating training programs. The Scarboro Figure Skating Club recognizes commitment with incentives and rewards.

The SFSC is one of Canada’s oldest clubs; we celebrated our 70th anniversary in 2021! We are a member of Skate Canada, the oldest and largest figure skating organization in the world with over 160,000 registered members, over 1,100 skating clubs and 5,300 coaches. There are 10 regional sections- ours is Skate Ontario.

Our facility, the Ice Galaxy, has a board-free, Olympic size ice pad used only for figure skating. It has a mirrored wall, rubber matting all around, and sessions year-round for every level from Learn to Skate to Olympic.
